YMCA ‘Playnasium’, wins D&AD Pencil Creativity for Good, Product Design.

The YMCA Playnasium is an innovation in gym and play equipment allowing parents to use their child’s weight as exercise weights – so they can work out whilst spending quality time with their kids.

Installed in parks across Australia, the YMCA Playnasium helps parents become healthier role models, encourages children to exercise before they are even old enough to exercise.

Playnasium won a D&AD Pencil for ‘Creativity for Good’ in Product Design, as well as a Cannes Entertainment and Outdoor Lions. Cannes Lions recognises creativity that turns content into culture. From 1793 entries received this year, 78 Lions were awarded – 12 Gold, 22 Silver and 43 Bronze, of these only one was awarded to Australia. So we feel pretty proud to have won. The agency scored a Bronze for YMCA ‘Playnasium’ via Treehouse Studios Melbourne.
