BIC Flex 3 ‘Hipstervention’. Beards are back and that’s a problem when you sell razors.

  • Hipsters! Beards! They’re everywhere and that’s a problem when you sell razors.

    So how did we help BIC Flex 3 get these men to shave? We staged ‘Hipstervention’s’ and got friends, to shame friends on social media into becoming themselves again.

    Firstly, we needed to recruit an army. Social and outdoor lured in all the help we needed. In a short time, we had over 22,000 friends ready to perform Hipsterventions for us.

    Then we just pointed them towards a website where we exposed the dreadful truth about hipsters. The signs of symptoms of being a Hipster.

    Then offered them a free ‘Hipstervention’ kit providing friends and families of Hipsters with all the tools necessary to shave a Hipster:

    • Step 1: Bait, posters to lure them to a location.

    • Step 2: Shame, the signs and symptoms to help diagnose and shame a hipster.

    • Step 3: Shave, a new BIC Flex 3.

    And one by one, the hipsters fell.

    Over 2000 lives were shaved in the first 3 days. We reached over 3 million people. And in just 11 days, BIC had their highest sales month on record. But most importantly.

    We didn’t just shave beards, we shaved lives.
