Pat has received over a 1000 creative and effectiveness awards during his career. Including the Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Effectiveness and the Gand EFFIE for Effectiveness. A One Club for Creativity, ‘International Board of Director’, Pat was also recognised by the Australian Creative & Effectiveness AC&E Awards as the inaugural ‘Creative of the Year’.

During his time in Advertising, McCann became Australia’s top ranked agency for Effectiveness by WARC, list amongst the top ten agencies in the world by WARC and was recognised by the Effie’s as APAC ‘Marketer of the Year’. For nine years Pat has judged the most effective work in the industry as a member of the EFFIE’s awards jury.

Pat is the only Australian Advertising Executive to have had work both awarded by TED and housed in the London Design Museum.

Pat has received 53 Cannes Lions, 6 Grand Prix Cannes Lions for Creative Effectiveness, Film, PR, Direct, Integrated, Radio, 22 Gold Cannes Lions and ‘Most Awarded Campaign in History of Cannes Lions’.

A D&AD ‘Best of Show’ and ‘Agency of the Year’, Black and Yellow Pencils. A One Show ‘Best of Show’. APAC Effie ‘Best in Show’, ‘Marketer of the Year’, ‘Brand of the Year’ and a Grand Prix. And other prestigious awards at Clio, Spikes, LIA, Tambuli, Adfest, Adstars, AWARD, and the Webby’s.

During his time as Executive Creative Director of McCann they became the world’s most awarded creative agency. Ranked by the Gunn Report as the ‘Number One Agency in the World’ and ‘Agency of the Year’ by Campaign Brief Australia.

Pat has served as a member of the Cannes Film Jury as well as D&AD, Effie, Webby, Tambuli, Spikes, Adfest, Adstars, AWARD and One Show juries. He has also been a Commercial Radio Australia Committee Member and Sirens Jury Member.
